The 2010 Better Living in Portugal was a great event. Just over 6000 visitors passed through the doors over the two days to visit the many and varied stands.

And of course 2010 saw some new innovations with the best of Algarve wine producers offering free tasting and competitively priced wine and an area devoted to 'green isssues' where you could learn from the experts how to save money with simple and some more compex ideas.

The stand holders were in praise of the number of people who had visited the exhibition, particularly in the ongoing financial downturn.

Premier FX told the organisers, Exiberia, that they had had an excellent weekend and the PC Centre from Lagos were ebullient with their praise, having done more business on Saturday morning than they had expected to do all weekend.

From Exiberia's perspective, Sheena Rawcliffe said that they were heartened by the number of companies who had committed to being at the exhibition when times were so tough, and also by the number of visitors who said that they had found just what they were looking for at BLiP.
